Interested in learning about the world's oldest sports? Come join the Patriot Wrestling Club. All experience levels are welcome, from the beginner to the advanced. Club dues include membership in the AAU (Amateur Athletic Union) as well as a Patriot Wrestling t-shirt.

Congratulations to Cory Bartolo (State Runner up - 2X State placer) and Eric Hitch (6th place) for their placement in the State tournament. They both had great seasons and we all here at Patriot Wrestling hope nothing but good things for Cory, Dan Lewis, and Eric as they move on to college.

The Patriot wrestling team continues its quest for a state title as Cory Bartolo (145lbs) and Eric Hitch (275lbs) place First and Second at this weekends Eastern Regional Finals.

Cory Bartolo, now a 2X Beach District and Eastern Regional Champion, along with his teammate Eric Hitch also a Beach District and Eastern Regional Runner-up go into next weeks state finals with one goal in mind - capture a State Wrestling Crown for their team and school. The competition will be tough and reach its peak with a lot of action and drama as the TOP wrestlers come out to Oscar Smith high school to do battle and determine who is the BEST wrestler in the State.

Patriot wrestlers, parents, school alum, and fans alike, the last Patriot wrestling champion was back in 1996. Please come out and cheer on Cory and Eric and give them a Gooooooooo Patriots! shout as they wrestle to be the BEST in Virginia.

Next weekends schedule for Virginia AAA Wrestling Finals has been posted. Please go to the Files tab for details for next weekends wrestling.

Once again, a great job by all Patriot wrestlers for wrestling in the toughest District in the State. A well-earned congratulations to wrestlers who placed in this weekends Beach Districts and a BRAVO ZULO goes out to Max Waering 2nd place @135, Cory Bartolo 2X Beach District Champion @145, Dan Lewis 4th place @189, and Eric Hitch 2nd place @285 for advancing to the toughest region in the state - the Eastern Region.

Next weeks wrestling will move to Oscar Smith high school as the level of competition gets much tougher. Scheduling and additional details are posted in the Files tab.

Last but not least, thank you to all the parents who volunteered their time and brought food and drink to the hospitality room.
