7 advance to Regionals!

Congratulations to the Patriot wrestlers and their 3rd place finish at the Beach District tournament. Despite harsh weather conditions, the team was able to break into the top 3 after 10+ years!

In addition to Christian Olanowski being named the Most Outstanding Wrestler, the FC team earned the Sportsmanship Award.

The top four finishers will be advancing to the Eastern Regional Tournament this Friday and Saturday at Oscar Smith High School.

The pairings for the tournament will be drawn on Monday at 3:30 at Grassfield High School.

Here is the schedule for the tourney so everyone can plan ahead to attend.

Feb. 12

9 am-Weigh-ins

11am-1st Round Championship and 1st round consolations

6 :30 pm-Quarter Final matches

8:30 pm-2nd round consolations

Feb. 13

10 am-Weigh-in

12:00-Semi-finals and quarter final consolations

2:00-Semi-final consolations

3:15-Consolation finals-5th and 6th place

4:15-Consolation Finals-3rd and 4th place

7:30-Finals

Come on out and support the troops as the top 4 place winners will advance to Robinson High School for the VHSL AAA State Wrestling Tournament on Friday February 19th.

Also, club practice is now on Mondays and Wednesdays as the Middle School season is in full swing. Pee-Wees will resume in March.
