Season:

WELCOME TO BEACH BOYZ WRESTLING CLUB

The purpose of Beach Boyz Wrestling Club is to develop an interest in the First Colonial community that develops experienced middle and high school wrestlers. This year, Beach Boyz WC is expanding into the elementary level of competition.  Participation with the Club not only develops a more skilled wrestler, but also a more agile, flexible, healthier athlete.  Beach Boyz Wrestling Club also provides a safe environment with all club practices taking place at First Colonial High School.

Our coaching staff is headed up by William Stravino.  Coach Stravino is the varsity head coach at First Colonial.  Coach Stravino is assisted by the First Colonial junior varsity coach Rodney Johnson, Antonio Davis, and Temoer Terry.   Together, these coaches develop our high school wrestlers.   Our newly formed Middle/Elementary school league is run by Coach Larry Spruill.  Coach Spruill is the wrestling coach at Virginia Beach Middle School.  Coach Spruill is assisted by Coleman Ruiz, Bobby Bramwell, and Mario Riportella.

Club practices include physical conditioning, technique and skill instruction, and team building.  Practices run on Tuesday and Thursday nights from 6:00 - 7:30.
