Another Winning Streak Begins Yankees Win!!!! 12-11

A nail biter for the Yankees as we beat the A's for the second time this year 12-11. Great pitching by Sam and Hunter. A great play at 3rd base throwing out the possible tying run at home plate to secure the victory.

WE WON!!!!! Great Game Guys 11-7

Our team played great. Everyone contributed to the win on Tuesday night in a late game at the park. We started late due to the first game going into extra innings. But when our team hit the field you could tell they came to play. Sam kept the A's close only allowing 3 runs in the first inning. By the 3rd inning we took the lead with great pitching from Sam and great hitting from the entire team. The hitting continued throughout the game with a homerun from Kyle "the hit man" Reece when he pounded a pitch to dead centerfield. Our boys stayed in the game even when they were in the dugout giving encouragement to their teammates.

Our next game will be Tuesday night at 7:00pm. Our team will be going for 2 in a row.

Still Playing Hard

Our Team is improving!!!!
I am alittle behind on my reports but over the last week our team has made alot of progress. If we could just get through the first inning without giving up runs. It seems that the first inning has been our trouble all year. The boys are working hard at their game and are expecting a win Friday night as we play the A's at 7:00 P.M.

We are missing one of our players, Gage has been out due to a spider bite. We are all looking forward to seeing him back on the field very soon.

Come on out and see our team and see what our team does next.

Also don't forget to look at the Photos page. And if you have photo's you would like to add just email them to me at kf4ygj@horizonwisp.net and we will get them on. You can also print these pictures if you like.

Another Tuff Outing for Our Guys.

Our Team came out flat against the Cardinals on Tuesday night despite a sell out crowd. Pudge gave up 6 runs in the first ining but only 6 more through the last 4. The team came around after about 3 innings and ended up falling to the Cardinals by a final of 12-6. There was some great plays by our team throughout the game, a great catch in center field by Josh Martin and some great base running by Kyle Reece and Dalton Kerr.

Our next game will be Friday night when out team will try to regroup against the Royals. The game starts at 7:00 PM . Players make sure you have your parents there by 6:15 for batting practice.

A Gloomy day at the Park.

It was a wet and cloudy day at the park on Saturday as our Yankees took it on the chin with a 16 - 0 loss to the A's. This reporter wasn't there but I am sure that the Yankees gave them all they could handle.
Our next game will be Tuesday night at 7:00 PM. Come on out and watch our Yankees bounce back against the Cardinals.
